In a bid to promote environmental conservation and preserve Uganda's natural heritage, the Rotary Club of Kyadondo embarked on an indigenous tree planting project. This initiative was undertaken in partnership with the Uganda Golf Club, a haven for indigenous trees in the heart of Kampala.
The project aimed to raise awareness about the importance of indigenous trees and their role in maintaining ecological balance. By planting these trees, the club hoped to contribute to the preservation of Uganda's biodiversity and mitigate the effects of climate change.
The Uganda Golf Club, with its lush surroundings and commitment to environmental stewardship, proved to be the perfect partner for this project. As one of the few remaining spaces in Kampala with a significant number of indigenous trees, the golf club served as an ideal location for the tree planting initiative.
Through this project, the Rotary Club of Kyadondo demonstrated its dedication to environmental conservation and community service. By working together with like-minded partners, the club continues to make a positive impact on the environment and the community.
